The invention relates to a fatigue crack tip automatic detection method and system capable of adapting to various surface states, and relates to the field of crack detection.The method comprises the steps that an initial image of the surface of a to-be-detected material is acquired and recorded as a first image; acquiring a fatigue crack propagation image of the surface of the to-be-detected material as a second image; performing pixel point subtraction on each image of the second image and the first image to obtain a difference value set; obtaining a threshold value of each group of difference values in the difference value set; obtaining crack growth points at different moments according to the threshold value; acquiring a main direction and an auxiliary direction of crack propagation; and the crack growth points at different moments are screened in the main direction and the auxiliary direction, and crack tip coordinates are obtained.
