Embodiment 1 and 2

[0164] Examples 1 and 2: SiO 2 Reaction with triisobutylaluminum (step A))

Embodiment 1

[0166] 100 g SiO 2 (SG 332 from Grace; dry at 200° C. for 12 hours) was suspended in 1 liter of dry heptane. During 30 minutes at room temperature, 140 ml of a 2 molar heptane solution of triisobutylaluminum were added dropwise, and the temperature was raised to 35°C. After this time, it was stirred overnight and the solid was filtered off and washed twice with pentane. Drying was then carried out under reduced pressure by means of an oil pump until constant weight (carrier 1).

Embodiment 2

[0168] 50 g SiO 2 (ES 70F from the company Crosfield; dried under reduced pressure at 110° C. for 7 hours) was suspended in 500 ml of dry heptane. At room temperature for 30 minutes, 70 ml of a 2 molar solution of triisobutylaluminum in heptane was added dropwise, and the temperature was raised to 35°C. After this time, it was stirred overnight and the solid was filtered off and washed with pentane. Drying was then carried out under reduced pressure by means of an oil pump until constant weight (carrier 2).
