Abstract

The invention relates to the method used in the satellite navivgation system for correcting the refraction time delay happened on the ionosphere of electromagnetic wave built on the base of modified thin layer model of ionosphere. The new thin layer model of ionosphere allows inclination of thin layers in order to improve on the existing model. Following modified methods and parameter format are built based on the new model when the refraction occurs on ionosphere. There are: the method of calculating the time delay modification for the central control station, the broadcast parameter format when the central station broadcasts information for users, and the method of calculating the time delay modification for users sides. The invention provides better accuracy than that of the prior art.
