Embodiment 1

[0033] Put polypropylene, maleic anhydride and initiator in the autoclave at a ratio of 100 / 3 / 1 by weight, fill the autoclave with low-pressure carbon dioxide to replace the air in the autoclave, and then fill with high-pressure carbon dioxide to increase the temperature of the reactor To 100°C, the pressure is controlled at 20.0MPa, swelling and permeating for 3 hours, and then the temperature of the reactor is raised to 120°C, and the pressure is 30.0MPa to react for 5 hours, the reactor is cooled and the pressure is released, and the grafted sample is taken out for purification and analysis and characterization . The grafting ratio measured by non-aqueous titration method is 0.72%. The GPC test was carried out on the grafted sample, and its average weight-average molecular weight was 94809.

Abstract

The present invention discloses the process of solid phase grafting maleic anhydride onto polypropylene in supercritical CO2 environment. The grafting process includes the following steps: setting polypropylene, maleic anhydride and initiator in supercritical CO2 to swell and penetrate polypropylene; and subsequent reaction in supercritical CO2 for 1-5 hr to obtain the grafted product. The grafted product has grafting rate upto 0.5 %, reaching the grafting level of melting grafting, and no serious molecular weight degradation. The process of the present invention is simple, and has no solvent recovering, no environmental pollution, homogeneous grafting and less degradation of the grafted product.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the preparation method of maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, particularly relate to utilizing supercritical CO 2 The invention discloses a preparation method of graft-copolymerized maleic anhydride in swelling and permeable polypropylene. Background technique [0002] Polypropylene (PP) is one of the five general-purpose plastics. Through grafting modification, suitable polar branches are introduced into the molecular chain of polypropylene, which can improve its performance deficiencies and add new properties while maintaining the original excellent characteristics of polypropylene. Maleic anhydride is often used as a graft-modified monomer for polypropylene due to its strong polarity and difficulty in self-polymerization. The application of polypropylene maleic anhydride graft (MPP) mainly has the following aspects: (1) As an adhesive, it has strong adhesion to metal substrates and other polar materials. (2) A...
