Abstract

A pulverized pulp layer 41 is provided under a surface sheet 33 formed of a resin film in which many liquid permeation holes 33a are formed in the absorbing sheet 21 for pets and a first highly water-absorbing material 42 is contained in the pulverized pulp layer 41 and a second highly water-absorbing material 43 having slower liquid absorbing rate than that of the first highly water-absorbing material is provided between the pulverized pulp layer 41 and the surface sheet 33. Since liquid absorbing rate of the second highly water-absorbing material 43 is slow, permeation of a liquid into the pulverized pulp layer 41 is not prevented and diffusion of urine can be suppressed by the first highly water-absorbing material 42 positioned in the pulverized pulp layer 41.
