Embodiment Construction

[0057] As shown in FIG. 1 , a waste disposal site 10 has a seal to an earth 22 containing groundwater, which is designed as a trough 12 with side walls 15 sloping outwards from a trough bottom 14 at an angle w of approximately 130°. . The interior 18 of this trough 12 is filled with waste material 24 which is covered by a cover 20 flush with the trough edge 16 .

[0058] Such as figure 2 As shown, by placing a waterproof plastic membrane 26 under a layer of compressed waste material 24a, a seal is provided against liquids that may flow from waste material 24a towards the bottom. The substructure of this trough 12 consists of water-repellent layers A, B and C (the water-repellent properties are obtained due to the addition of additives), the thicknesses a (layer A) and b of which are 200 and 300 mm, respectively. CBS (ceramic binder system) is also additionally introduced into layers B and C. Since the layers A to C are absolutely watertight, the sealing of the aquifer of th...

Abstract

In a waste disposal site for storing waste and residues of solid organic or inorganic substances, composites and mixtures thereof, arranged in the ground ( 22 ) is a trough comprising a trough bottom ( 14 ) and side walls, the trough bottom of which contains at least two water-tight layers (B, C) with constituents of a ceramic binder system (CBS). Arranged flat between the top water-tight layer (C) and the waste material ( 24 a) is at least one water-tight plastic film ( 26 ) on which compacted debris is stored as waste material ( 24 a). Moreover, there is a covering which contains at least two water-tight layers (B, C) on which there is arranged at least one seepage layer for dissipating rainwater.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a waste disposal site for storing waste and solid organic and inorganic waste or mixtures thereof, and to a device for this purpose. Background technique [0002] The aforementioned waste includes, for example, industrial waste, such as slag from the metallurgy industry, and domestic waste of various compositions. The latter mainly includes organic mixtures, such as food, plastic packaging, composite packaging, and also includes inorganic components, such as glass, metal and their composites. [0003] Since the separation of substances within mixtures or complexes has long been either not possible or only energy-intensive and difficult to perform satisfactorily, these mixtures and complexes pose great problems, especially with regard to disposal. Most of this waste is sintered or dumped. Only wastes with low impurity content (such as aluminum sheet cans) can be used as materials. More complex wastes cannot be treated for mat...
