The invention relates to a novel composite bipolar membrane for preparing low-carbon
alcohol alkali metal salt and an
electrodialysis process of the novel composite bipolar membrane, and belongs to the technical field of membrane separation and electrochemical synthesis. The composite bipolar membrane comprises a cation exchange layer, a middle catalyst layer and an anion exchange layer which are sequentially laminated and compounded, the process comprises the following steps: introducing a
salt solution containing
alkali metal ions into an
anode chamber of a bipolar membrane
electrodialysis system, and introducing a low-carbon
alcohol solution into a
cathode chamber; applying a direct-
current electric field to the two sides of the composite bipolar membrane, so that the low-carbon
alcohol is dissociated at the membrane interface to generate alkoxy ions and
hydrogen ions; the alkoxy ions migrate to an
anode chamber to be combined with the
alkali metal ions to generate low-carbon alcohol alkali
metal salt; the membrane material is high in adaptability, the
membrane structure is good in stability, technological parameters are mature, and the
system integration degree is high.
