The invention belongs to the technical field of process
tail gas treatment, and particularly relates to a
natural gas-to-
ethylene glycol process
tail gas treatment method which comprises the following steps: 1) enabling purge gas at the top of an esterification
tower to enter an MN absorption area at the top of the esterification
tower, and spraying the purge gas with
methanol at 30-40 DEG C to obtain coarsely treated purge gas; and 2) feeding the roughly treated purge gas to an MN
recovery tower, simultaneously conveying factory air or
oxygen to the MN
recovery tower, spraying
methanol at 15-20 DEG C to the upper part of the MN
recovery tower, maintaining the pressure in the MN recovery tower to be 0.2-0.25 MPa, and discharging the treated
tail gas from the top of the MN recovery tower. The process tail gas is subjected to two-stage treatment, the MN content of the tail gas discharged from the top of the MN recovery tower is lower than 0.02%, and meanwhile, the CO2 content of the tail gas can reach 3.7%, so that efficient recovery and utilization of the MN effective gas can be guaranteed, the emission of CO2 can be increased, the
energy consumption of the device can be reduced, and the efficiency of the device can be improved.
