A coding matrix has the following characteristics: (1) the quadratic sum of all elements of the inverse matrix of the coding matrix is minimal; (2) the elements of the coding matrix comprise a plurality of unit levels of N, N-1, N-2,...0, wherein the N is not less than 2; and (3) relation between the order number N*N of the coding matrix and the pulse length L of pump light is N=2(L-1). Compared with the distributed fiber sensing equipment without adopting coding or with adopting an original coding mode, the invention greatly improves the detection sensitivity and the signal-to-noise ratio, can shorten the coding length, reduce the sending times of the coded pump light and obtain higher coding gain.
