The invention provides a nut
cap combination for cylindrical batteries. The nut cap comprises a
top cap, a bottom cap, a blast-proof ball and a
cathode connecting member; the blast-proof ball is arranged in a containing space formed between the
top cap and the bottom cap, the
cathode connecting member is welded to the bottom cap, the
top cap penetrates a top cap via hole of the
cathode connectingmember centrally, an insulating jacket is matched with a gap between the skirt edge of the cathode connecting member and the bottom cap, and is compressed and tightened with the bottom cap through thecathode connecting member; an
anode connecting ring sleeves the middle of the compressed insulating jacket, the edge part of the
anode connecting ring is welded with the top of a corresponding steelcase, and the
anode connecting ring is used as a
welding member and a supporting member of the whole nut
cap combination. The invention further provides a cylindrical secondary battery manufactured bythe nut
cap combination for cylindrical batteries. The nut cap combination for the cylindrical batteries is simple in structure; the cylindrical secondary battery manufactured with the nut cap combination has the advantages that the service space of the
internal cell can be improved, and capacity of the battery can be increased, and safety thereof can be improved.
