electricity combinational stimulation
cell culture device. The device comprises a
cell culture box, a
cell culture cavity fixing frame, a
cell culture cavity, a
stepper motor and a
signal generator, wherein the culture box is provided with a
porous channel communicated with outside; the
cell culture cavity is fixed in the
cell culture cavity fixing frame; the cell culture cavity comprises a fixed
threaded rod, a groove body, a fixed clamping apparatus, an
elastic membrane, a sliding clamping apparatus and a sliding
threaded rod; the
elastic membrane is fixed on the fixed clamping apparatus and the sliding clamping apparatus; the fixed clamping apparatus is connected with the fixed
threaded rod; the sliding clamping apparatus is connected with the sliding threaded rod; the fixed clamping apparatus, the
elastic membrane and the sliding clamping apparatus are positioned in the groove body; the sliding threaded rod is connected with the
stepper motor; andthe
signal generator is connected with a
metal electrode in the cell culture cavity. The stretch-
electricity combinational stimulation cell culture device overcomes the
disadvantage of incapacity of simulating a physical microenvironment in which internal cells are subject to stretching force and electric stimulation at the same time in the conventional method, establishes a cell culture method under the condition of combining stretching force stimulation with
electricity stimulation, and promotes the development of cell and
tissue culture methods and related
tissue engineering reactors.
