The invention relates to a high-performance and high-
coercivity Tb-containing
magnet and a preparation method thereof. The
magnet is a RE-Fe-B
magnet, wherein a principal phase
crystal grain of the RE-Fe-B magnet is a core-shell structure, the core is a (RE, Tb)2Fe14B phase or RE2Fe14B phase, and the shell is a (RE, Tb)2Fe14B phase. The preparation method comprises the following steps of S1, configuring principal phase
alloy and Tb
alloy according to constituents, and melting and rapidly condensing the principal phase
alloy and the Tb alloy to principal phase alloy
casting sheet and Tb alloy
casting sheet; S2, smashing and
grinding the principal phase alloy
casting sheet and the Tb alloy casting sheet to obtain
magnetic powder; S3, pressing and forming the
magnetic powder to obtain a greenblank; and S4, performing low-temperature
sintering and multi-stage annealing on the green blank to obtain the magnet. The magnet has the advantages that the magnet is the RE-Fe-B magnet having the core-shell structure, the core is the RE2Fe14B phase which does not contain heavy rare-earth Tb or contain a few heavy rare-earth Tb, the shell is the (RE, Tb)2Fe14B phase containing a large amount ofheavy rare-earth Tb, Tb in the principal phase
crystal grain of the magnet is distributed on a
crystal boundary, the defect on surfaces of the crystal grains are restored, and the crystal boundary distribution is continuous.
