Abstract

The disclosed board for guiding light and backlight module is applicable to area of liquid-crystal display. The board for guiding light includes an incident plane, an emergent plane, and reflection plane with microstructures being setup on. At least one diffraction structure is formed on the incident plane. The said diffraction structure is fabricated on the incident plane directly. Comparing with prior art, the invention makes structure of whole set compact as well as provides high coupling efficiency of optical beam. The invention also discloses backlight module of using the board for guiding light.
