Abstract

The ultraviolet lamp tube is set in the tubular network electrode to form a photocatalytic region between the ultraviolet lamp tube and the tubular network electrode. The tubular network electrode is in the stainless steel tube, and the quartz tube is between the tubular network electrode and the stainless steel tube to form an ozone generation tube. The oxidation rate and efficiency of ozone are increased by photocatalysis, thus ozone is decomposed into OH free radicals. Neutral, acidic and basic organic matters that cannot be degraded by ozone alone can be oxidized with an oxidation rate 10-10 to the power 4 times that of ozone or ultraviolet.
