Abstract

The invention discloses a LCD device and manufacturing method which can improve the aperture opening ratio. The LCD device includes a baseplate provided with a resistor region, a pixel region and a storage capacitance region; a resistor arranged in the resistor region of the baseplate, which is provided with a first transparent conductive layer, a pictorial first conductive layer, an dielectric layer, a pictorial semi-conductive layer, a pictorial second conductive layer and a pictorial second transparent conductive layer superimposed in order; a storage capacitor arranged in the storage capacitance region of the baseplate; and a pixel electrode arranged in the pixel region of the baseplate. The invention takes a storage capacitor with two pictorial transparent conductive layers as the electrode for light transmittance, to increase the light transmittance area of the display device and improve the aperture opening ratio.
