Abstract

An adjustable gain amplifier having a gain adjusting device includes a gain adjusting device and an amplifying circuit, wherein the gain adjusting device includes a linear index conversion loop, a voltage buffer loop and a power-law conversion loop. The voltage buffer loop also outputs a voltage control signal to control the gain of the amplifying circuit.
