Abstract

Provided is an image generation method and system for testing a display. At first, a video resolution of a dispaly is determined to be inputted. The number and size of rectangles formed by a second-dimensional grid pattern are automatically determined based on the resolution, so that the number of horizontal pixels of each rectangle is equal to the number of vertical pixels. The grid pattern is automatically displayed on the diaplay.
