Abstract

The filter medium is prepared with ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene in 50-75 wt%, active carbon in 20-45 wt% and calcined dolomite powder in 1-8 wt%, and through mixing, sinteing at 180-280 deg.c for 60-180 min and cooling. The filter medium and the filter element therewith can regulate pH value of drinking water. The present invention is used in purifying drinking water, improving water quality and regulating pH value of drinking water to make it in slight alkaline, and has high efficiency, no secondary pollution, use convenience and low cost.
