Abstract

The invention discloses an exchange system based on a sharing memory and a load-sharing mode and a protection switching method with an interface grade. The system in the invention comprises two exchange planes and a plurality of exchange terminals which are connected with a signal wire through a backboard bus and a high-speed chain. Each exchange terminal is provided with a filter. The settings of the filters in the plurality of exchange terminals lead any exchange terminal to only receive messages from a fixed exchange plane. The method in the invention discloses a protection switching method with the interface grade in the system. By adopting the system and the method in the invention, a great progress in the respects of assuring the stability and reliability of the communication system is achieved. The switching time of the protection switching with an interface grade is shortened to the greatest extent; the lost message is reduced to the minimum and more stable a faster speed meets the switching requirement for the communication grate device.
