Abstract

The invention provides a method for protocol stack architecture and information interaction of a mobile communication system. The architecture consists essentially of a CCM (Common Control Management) layer, which is disposed on the uppermost layer of the protocol stack and used for implementing a plurality of common controls related to RAT (Radio Access Technology); generating a decision result according to the types of received general event type or of the information and sending the result to a lower layer; and an abstract layer which is used for shielding the difference between various RATs of the lower layer, transforming various types of required RAT information into a general event type or an information type for reporting to an upper layer, and sending the received decision resultto the lower layer corresponding to various RATs. The method solves the problem that the architecture of the protocol stack is not definite in an environment where a plurality of access technologies coexist.
