Abstract

The invention relates to a mould used for making light closed-cell foamed ceramics, which belongs to the technical field of construction materials. The mould comprises a bottom plate, a maintenance panel, a built-in cover board and a built-in pipe. The well-distributed built-in pipes are inserted into the bottom plate and the built-in cover board made of refractory material is nested into the pipe. A pore space in which the built-in pipe is vertically arranged is formed by the bottom plate, the built-in pipe and the maintenance panel. Compounding material is pressed compact according to the structure and the shape of an internal chamber prior to loading. The compounding material is filled into the mould during the loading to ensure a close-grained filling effect. With the completion of the loading, an upper cover board is placed on the compounding material. As the built-in pipe is arranged in the mould, heat transmission during the process of sintering can be enhanced, the time of sintering and annealing can be shortened and the cycle and the energy consumption of the sintering can be reduced. The mould can be used for sintering zeolite-diatomite foamed ceramics, wasted ceramics clay foamed ceramics, fly ash-wasted glass foamed ceramics and coal gangue-glass-caustic sludge foamed ceramics, etc.
