Abstract

The invention relates to a sliding valve, especially for regulating a catalyser flow or similar high temperature media, said valve comprising a tubular section (10) and a diaphragm (11) which is arranged therein and comprises an inlet and an outlet (12a, 12b) through which a medium flows during operation. Said valve also comprises a sliding plate (13) which interacts with the outlet (12b) in order to regulate the catalyst flow and can be displaced into an open or closed position I, II. The sliding plate (13) is displaceably mounted by means of meshed guiding elements (14, 15) arranged on the tube side and on the plate side. The invention is characterised in that the tube-side guiding elements (14) are arranged upstream of the outlet (12b) in the flow direction.
