Abstract

The invention improves the traditional detection method at excavation sites such as ancient tomb sites in my country, and designs and develops a set of intelligent pre-detection system at the site of archaeological excavation. The system consists of remote monitoring terminal, robot and cables and other accessories. The robot integrates environmental detection functional modules such as video acquisition and gas sensing, and adopts a split small-sized modular design, which can be easily disassembled into two shapes and suitable for different forms of closed space excavation sites. After the design and manufacture of the system, field tests were carried out in three ancient tomb sites. The research results show that the overall system is stable and operable, which promotes the scientific and technological process of archaeological excavation.
