Abstract

The present invention provides a lens module which comprises a first lens and a second lens. Each of the first lens and the second lens comprises a central optical part and a periphery part surrounding the central optical part. The first lens is provided with a first surface facing to the second lens. The second lens is provided with a second surface facing to the first lens, wherein, the first surface of periphery part of the first lens is provided with a plurality of first projections which are installed separately. The second surface of periphery part of the second lens is provided with a plurality of second grooves corresponding with the first projections. The first projection of the first lens is matched in the second groove of the second lens thereby aligning the first lens with the light axis of the second lens. The invention also provides a method for manufacturing the lens module.
