Abstract

The invention relates to a portable remote manipulator and a method for optionally selecting objects controlled thereby. The remote manipulator has small volume and is provided with multiple shortcut key presses which can optionally set any controlled equipment or any profiles in a room, and the settings are downloaded to a room controller after being set on a main controller, so as to realize one-touch rapid operation. The remote manipulator comprises a core processing unit, a key-press processing unit, a wireless communication unit, and a power supply management unit. The optionally selecting method comprises the following steps: (1) selecting controlled equipment by the remote manipulator; (2) establishing the binding relationship of the shortcut key presses; and (3) wireless downloading the binding relationship of the shortcut key presses. Compared with the prior art, the method utilizes wireless communication technology to realize one-touch operation of any controlled equipment or any profiles in the room by using the remote manipulator.
