Abstract

The invention discloses a reflective liquid crystal projecting apparatus, which comprises a projecting light path structure consisting of an illuminating source, a light splitting and combining device, reflective liquid crystal panels and a projection lens, wherein the light splitting and combining device consists of four PBS and four half-wave plates, the four PBS are arranged adjacent to each other and polarization light-splitting planes thereof form a forked shape integrally, and the four half-wave plates are arranged between each two PBS respectively. The illuminating source, the light splitting and combining device and the projection lens are arranged sequentially along the same central line; a single or two pieces of the reflective liquid crystal panels are positioned on the lateral surfaces of the light splitting and combining device and are placed in parallel with the central line, thus the liquid crystal projecting apparatus with a linear light path structure is obtained and can be made into a needed thin-strip shape by microminiaturizing.
