Embodiment Construction
[0026] The single figure shows a schematic view of an assembly 1 according to the invention. Said assembly 1 consists of a common one-piece casting consisting of a cylinder head 2 , an exhaust manifold 3 and a turbocharger 4 . Since the exhaust gas is supplied directly from the exhaust manifold 3 to the turbocharger 4, corresponding connections can be dispensed with. The exhaust gas thus leaves the turbine side through the connection 5 . Combustion air is drawn into the compressor section of the turbocharger 4 through a duct 6 , compressed and leaves the turbocharger 4 through a connection 7 . The connection 7 may for example be aligned even during casting so that compressed air is provided to the intake system of the engine, for example through a valve cover, and other piping is dispensed with.
