Abstract

The invention relates to a quick screening method of phenolphthalein doped in Chinese patent medicine, health-care products and food for losing weight. The quick screen method comprises the followingsteps: (1) preparing sodium hydroxide solution with the concentration of 0.47mol/L to 0.53mol/L; (2) dissolving a sample by ethanol solution with the volume concentration of 90% to 96%, filtering andtaking filtrate; and (3) dropping 2 to 5 drops of filtrate into the sodium hydroxide solution and judging whether the phenolphthalein is added to the sample or not according to the change of colors. The invention also discloses a special reagent kit for implementing the screening method, comprising the ethanol solution with the volume concentration of 90% to 96% and the sodium hydroxide solution with the concentration of 0.47mol/L to 0.53mol/L. The detecting method is suitable for quickly screening whether the phenolphthalein is doped in the Chinese patent medicine, the health-care products and the food or not on site for basic medicine supervision personnel and has the advantages of low cost, simple operation, high sensitivity and the like.
