The hair lotion consists of the following Chinese medicaments in part by weight: 90 to 110 parts of plant soot, 90 to 110 parts of myrrh, 140 to 160 parts of common clubmoss herb, 80 to 100 parts of cowherb seed, 140 to 160 parts of parslane herb, 140 to 160 parts of charred sanguisorba root, 140 to 160 parts of rough gentian, 180 to 210 parts of bletilla, 190 to 210 parts of malaytea scurfpea fruit, 80 to 100 parts of lightyellow sophora root and 140 to 160 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizome. The hair lotion is prepared by the following steps of: finely selecting raw materials; removing impurities; drying the raw materials; mixing the raw materials in proportion; grinding the mixture into powder; putting the powder into a reaction kettle; adding water in an amount which is five times that of the powder; and heating the mixture to decoct into the Chinese medicinal hair lotion.
