Product delivery system

A sensor device for detecting product quality conditions is attached to each product to be delivered, and constant monitoring is performed on quality conditions of stock products in a storage room of a delivery center for quality assurance. For products in a storage room of a delivery truck, constant monitoring is also performed on quality conditions thereof in the same manner. If a quality abnormality is found in a product in the storage room, information regarding product sensing items and information regarding the current location of each delivery truck are processed to select a replacement stock product less susceptible to recurrence of a similar quality abnormality at the time of redelivery.

Method to treat age-related macular degeneration

InactiveUS6942655B2Prevent and alleviate and delay onsetInhibit progressLaser surgeryDiagnosticsDisease areaCombined treatment
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) results in the formation of new blood vessels in the eye. The walls of these vessels leak fluid, which causes scarring in the surrounding tissue and results in reduced vision or loss of vision. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) alone has been used to treat AMD, but many retreatments are needed, which cause further damage to the already diseased area. Laser treatment to coagulate the fluid actually causes additional new vessels to form. However, the inventive method of treating patients with both PDT and scatter threshold laser coagulation therapy surprisingly either improved vision, or prevented further loss of vision. Moreover, the combined treatment eliminated the need for retreatment, and did not generate new vessel growth. Threshold laser coagulation and PDT may be administered within the same treatment session or either may be administered first and the other may be administered within ninety days.

Polypeptide, nucleic acid for coding polypeptide, polypeptide-modified T lymphocyte and application of T lymphocyte

The invention belongs to the technical field of biology, and discloses a polypeptide containing two chimeric antigen receptor structures, nucleic acid for coding the polypeptide, a modified T lymphocyte, and a preparation method and application of the T lymphocyte. The polypeptide provided by the invention contains the two chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) structures, wherein one chimeric antigen receptor structure specifically targets a tumor cell, and the other one specifically targets a normal B lymphocyte, so that a CAR-T cell is effectively amplified through recognizing the B lymphocyte ofa blood circulation system, and more CAR-T cells arrive at a solid tumor part so as to specifically kill the tumor cell for improving a treatment effect on the solid tumor. The polypeptide further comprises an ScFv structure of an anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody, and the CAR-T cells can simultaneously secrete a PD-L1 monoclonal antibody which interdicts an immunosuppressive action medicated by a PD1 / PDL1 signal pathway and T cell failure, so that the treatment effect on the solid tumor is improved, the functional activity of immune cells in vivo is prolonged at the same time, and finally the tumor recurrence is retarded and even avoided.

Manufacturing method for individualized lip and tongue side orthodontic appliance

The invention provides a manufacturing method for an individualized lip and tongue side orthodontic appliance. According to the manufacturing method, the individualized lip and tongue side orthodontic appliance is manufactured according to a lip and tongue side shape of teeth of a patient; a manufactured bracket is divided into two parts; one part is a bracket body of the bracket; the other part of the bracket is an individualized bracket bottom plate of the bracket. The bracket body of the bracket in the orthodontic appliance contains three-dimensional data (whole tooth axis inclined degree, whole tooth torque and whole tooth convexity) of countryman normal whole teeth (dental crowns and tooth roots) reference values. Meanwhile, the designed bracket bottom plate is completely fitted with a lip and tongue side face of the teeth and the bonding strength of the bottom plate and the lip and tongue side face is enhanced. According to the manufacturing method, the whole teeth can be moved to one accurate position to realize the controllable quantitative movement of the whole position of the teeth; the tooth roots are placed on an ideal position; the requirements of special crowd are met and the reoccurrence after the correction is reduced; the occurrence rate of complications including bone exposure, bone fracture and the like is avoided, and the balance and the stability of the orthodontic effect is realized.

Ablation of Myocardial Tissues with Nanosecond Pulsed Electric Fields

An apparatus and methods for performing ablation of myocardial tissues are disclosed. The apparatus includes a plurality of ablation electrode configurations to which nanosecond pulsed electric fields are applied. The methods relate to therapies to treat cardiac arrhythmias, such as, atrial fibrillation and scar-related ventricular tachycardia, amongst others. The affected myocardial tissues are ablated creating a plurality of lesions enabled by the nanosecond pulsed electric fields applied to either penetrating electrodes, endo-endo electrodes, or endo-epi electrodes. Different electrophysiological tests are performed to assess the application of nanosecond pulsed electric field ablation to specific desired tissue location within the heart. Test results show the potential to overcome limitations of current ablation therapies, thereby providing patients and doctors a superior treatment for cardiac arrhythmias.

High concentration topical insecticides containing pyrethroids

InactiveUS20050245582A1Easy to useAvoid many common deleterious side effectsBiocideDead animal preservationHigh concentrationSide effect
A topical insecticide preparation is provided which can be safe to use and avoids many common deleterious side effects of conventional topical insecticides. The topical insecticide contains a combination of a first pyrethroid insecticide effective for killing fleas, a second pyrethroid insecticide effective for killing ticks, and an insect growth regulator (IGR). The topical insecticide preparation can be packaged together or packaged so that the first and second pyrethroid insecticides are stored separately prior to administration of the insecticide preparation to the animal. The combination of the first and second pyrethroid insecticides with an insect growth regulator results in an insecticide preparation formulated to have enhanced insecticidal activity against fleas and ticks compared to the effectiveness of the first and second insecticides used alone. Further, the combination of the first and second pyrethroid insecticides with an insect growth regulator produces an insecticide preparation having enhanced insecticidal activity against fleas and ticks while advantageously minimizing the total amount of insecticide needed for its effectiveness.
