Abstract

The invention provides a packet dispatching method and a forward service dispatcher, relating to the field of communication. The packet dispatching method comprises the steps of: separating a forward service stream belonging to an access terminal to a top priority queue, a secondary top priority queue, a secondary lowest priority queue and a lowest priority queue according to the requirements of different services on QoS (quality of service) parameters; carrying out strict priority dispatching on the access terminal according to the sequence of the top priority queue, the secondary top priority queue, the secondary lowest priority queue and the lowest priority queue in each dispatching time slot; carrying out dispatching on the packet data of same priority queue in different access terminals by adopting a time slot polling method when a base station processes the packet data of the top priority queue, the secondary top priority queue and the secondary lowest priority queue of the access terminal of a sector to which the base station belongs; and carrying out dispatching on the access terminal by applying a proportional fair dispatching method when the bases station processes the packet data of the lowest priority queue of the access terminal of the sector to which the base station belongs. The invention provides supports for the packet and dispatching for differentiation QoS.
