Embodiment Construction

[0023] figure 1 The compound link rear axle 1 shown in includes two trailing arms 2 that extend substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and are connected by a cross member 3 . The transverse beam 3 is resistant to bending in a known manner, but can be twisted. A wheel carrier for supporting the rear wheels 4 of the vehicle is located on the rear end section of each trailing arm 2 . Furthermore, the front end section of each trailing arm 2 is coupled to the vehicle body 6 via an axle guide bearing 5 .

[0024] In the exemplary embodiment shown, the pivot axis of the axle guide bearing 5 runs horizontally transversely to the longitudinal or forward direction of travel of the vehicle. However, it is also possible to deviate from this orientation so that there is an angle of deflection of not more than approximately 25° both relative to the horizontal and to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

Abstract

A shaft guide bearing for coupling a rear axle to a vehicle body of a motor vehicle, comprising: an outer sleeve (7) for coupling to the rear axle; an inner part (8) for stationary arrangement on the vehicle body , the inner part is inserted into the outer sleeve (7); and the rubber between the outer sleeve (7) and the inner part (8) is used to swingably support the outer sleeve (7) on the inner part (8) body (9). The inner part (8) has a snap washer (14) which is axially spaced from the axial end section (11) of the outer sleeve (7). The rubber body (9) is firmly connected with the stop washer (14). As a result, no relative movement occurs between the rubber body and stationary parts on the body side during elastic movement of the axle during travel, so that noise and wear are avoided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an axle guide bearing for coupling a rear axle to a vehicle body of a motor vehicle. The invention also relates to a compound guide rod rear axle with such an axle guide bearing. Background technique [0002] Combined tie-rod axles are currently also coupled tie-rod axles in a broad sense, and are widely used in cars as rear axles due to their simple structure and good functional characteristics. Examples thereof are known in particular from DE 195 07 397 A1 or DE 197 17 276 A1. [0003] These rear axles generally comprise: two trailing rods extending more or less in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; on the car body. A vehicle wheel is arranged on each rear end section of the trailing arms. [0004] The rear axle is pivotally coupled to the vehicle body by means of so-called axle guide bearings, which are usually rubber-metal bearings. These bearings influence both the comfort of the rear axle and the driving beha...
