The alkaline organic fertilizer comprises 1 part of humic acid of which the organic content is 70-80%, and 0.5-2 parts of 30-50% plant ash of which the pH value is 10-11.5; or 1 part of humic acid, 0.5-0.8 part of manioc vinasse, 0.1-0.3 part of magnesium oxide and 0.8-1.2 parts of plant ash. The production method comprises the following steps: (1) respectively taking humic acid, manioc vinasse, magnesium oxide and plant ash according to parts by weight, and evenly mixing in a mixer to obtain a powder alkaline organic fertilizer; and (2) sending the mixture of humic acid, manioc vinasse, magnesium oxide and plant ash which are proportionally and evenly mixed, into a roller granulator, and granulating to obtain the granular organic fertilizer.
