Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for monitoring quality of Web services (QoWS) in an end-to-end manner. The monitoring system comprises a registration module, an SNMP (simple network management protocol) proxy module, a monitoring module and an evaluation module. The monitoring method comprises the following steps of: A, registering; B, generating parameters and parameter values of theagreed quality; C, sending the agreed quality parameters; D, obtaining the service session information; E, obtaining the management information of the service session; F, obtaining the delivered quality parameter values and perceived quality parameter values corresponding to the agreed quality parameters; G, sending the delivered quality parameter values, the perceived quality parameter values and the transmitted quality parameter values to the evaluation module by the monitoring module; and H, evaluating and counting the quality information of the service by the evaluation module.
