Embodiment Construction

[0034] Please refer to figure 1 , which shows a flowchart of a method for manufacturing a photovoltaic device according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2A~2I according to figure 1 The cross-sectional schematic diagram of the corresponding photovoltaic device shown in the flow chart.

[0035] Please refer to figure 1 Step S1 of and Figure 2A , providing a front substrate 110 and a rear substrate 120 to manufacture photovoltaic devices. In one embodiment, the front substrate 110 and the rear substrate 120 may be glass substrates (such as glass substrates coated with a transparent conductive oxide film). However, the present invention does not limit the front and rear substrates to be glass substrates, and other suitable materials can also be used. For example, the front substrate 110 and the rear substrate 120 can also be polymer sheets, such as DuPont film, DuPont polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) or DuPont Polymer sheets made of materials such as ST...

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a photovoltaic device. The method includes the steps of providing a front substrate and a back substrate, forming a photovoltaic cell on the front substrate, encapsulating the photovoltaic cell by an encapsulant, attaching a solid state sealant tape on one of the two substrates, and adhering the two substrates through the solid state sealant tape and the encapsulant. The solid state sealant tape is in solid state at room temperature. The photovoltaic cell and the encapsulant are situated within an enclosed space formed by the two substrates and the solid state sealant tape.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a manufacturing method of an energy conversion device, and in particular to a manufacturing method of a photovoltaic device. Background technique [0002] Of the current trends in green technology, solar energy has received the most research attention for its seemingly inexhaustible advantages. Therefore, photovoltaic devices for converting light energy (especially sunlight) into electrical energy have been developed. In addition, photovoltaic devices do not generate greenhouse gases during the photoelectric conversion process, and the generated electricity can be used in various applications, just like the energy generated by batteries or power plants. For the above reasons, photovoltaic devices are becoming more and more popular in the market, and are also widely used in various electronic products. [0003] Basically, the photovoltaic device includes two substrates arranged in parallel, a photovoltaic unit is sandwiched be...
