The invention relates to a temperature-resistant phenolic resin sand control agent and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method of the temperature-resistant phenolic resin sand control agent comprises the following steps of: (1) carrying out a reaction on coal tar and aldehyde under the action of acid catalyst to obtain a reaction product, wherein the acid catalyst is a mixture of p-toluenesulfonic acid and sulfamic acid; and (2) mixing the reaction product obtained by the step (1) with the phenolic resin, thus the temperature-resistant phenolic resin sand control agent is obtained.
