Disclosed is a biodegradable lubricant composition which is obtained by blending (A) an ester that is obtained by reacting a saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid, a linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol, and has a kinematic viscosity at 40 DEG C of not less than 400 mm2 / s but not more than 1,000 mm2 / s and an acid value of not more than 0.5 mgKOH / g, (B) an ester that is obtained by reacting a linear saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol, and has an acid value of not more than 0.5 mgKOH / g, and (C) a phosphate ester amine salt that is obtained by reacting an acidic phosphate ester and an alkyl amine.
