Problems solved by technology

[0003] Liu Tie and others proposed to use the center-surround histogram algorithm (English expression: Center-surround histogram ) for significant object detection and analysis, but the calculation needs to use multiple different aspect ratios for blind tentative calculations, and then make comparisons, resulting in low detection efficiency

Embodiment Construction

[0017] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and in combination with preferred specific embodiments.

[0018] Such as figure 1 As shown, the rapid detection method for a salient object in this embodiment includes the following steps:

[0019] 1. Preliminary tailoring

[0020] Preliminary cropping is performed on the original image to be processed, if the length and width of the image are h and w respectively. Cut out the pixels in the image whose horizontal coordinate range is [0, w / 10] and [9w / 10, w], and whose vertical coordinate range is [0, h / 10] and [9h / 10, h]. The image A to be detected is obtained, and the length and width of the image A are respectively reduced to 80% of the original image. In actual application, the clipping range here can be properly selected according to the specific situation, but the length and width of the cropped image should not be less than 80% of the original image.

Abstract

The invention discloses a quick detection method for a salient object. In the method, wavelet transformation is executed on a to-be-detected image many times, the size and the position of the salient object are determined according to high-frequency band data which is obtained through wavelet transformation, and then, an accurate saliency value is obtained through a center-perimeter histogram algorithm, thus, the salient object is detected accurately. In comparison with the prior art, the method provided by the invention has the benefits of high detection efficiency and accurate localization.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computer image processing, in particular to a method for fast detection of salient objects. Background technique [0002] The human brain and visual system pay more attention to certain parts of the picture. Visual attention models have been studied for a long time by disciplines such as psychology, physiology, and neuroscientific computer vision. The application of visual attention model is also quite extensive. Such as region-based image retrieval and content-based image compression. There are also the automatic copying of images, the display of images on small display devices, the compression of images and videos, even the design of print advertisements and the collection and browsing of pictures, the analysis of the conversion of 2D images to 3D images, and the retrieval of similar images is becoming increasingly important. A hotspot in the field of image research, saliency maps can also be used for object l...
