Problems solved by technology

[0007] This prior art utilizes channel state information to maximize the decoding performance in the receiving system environment, and transmits the received signal and channel state information to a Viterbi (Viterbi) decoder, which needs to be processed in Viterbi ( In this case, there is a disadvantage that a function unit using a memory element such as a de-interleaver (De-interleaver) exists between the Viterbi decoder and the soft decision unit of the received signal. In addition, the clock speed (speed of a clock) used to transmit the received signal and channel state information must be increased
[0008] Moreover, in the conventional method, the estimated channel state information is used in the decoder, so there is a problem that proper correction cannot be performed based on the soft-decision received signal.

Embodiment Construction

[0021] Refer below Figure 2 to Figure 4 , in detail, the embodiment of the present invention applies a received signal processing method of channel state information in an OFDM system.

[0022] figure 2 It is a block diagram of an OFDM-based received signal processing device using channel state information according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0023] That is, the configuration includes: a channel state information estimation unit 110 that estimates a first channel state information value (CSI RECEIVED ); the channel state information correction unit 111 calculates the above-mentioned first channel state information value (CSI RECEIVED ) of the corrected second channel state information value (CSI NEW ) and the third channel state information value (CSI WEIGHTED ); the soft decision section 102 calculates the first soft decision value from the IQ received signal decoded into an I (In-phase) signal and a Q (Quadrature) signal by the signal synchronization ...

Abstract

Provided is a method for processing received signal by applying channel status information based on OFDM. The method applies CSI to a soft-decision value of the received signal and thus can more enhance performance than a method applied to a typical decoder even without using an additional memory and the increase of a system clock speed. The method appropriately perform adjustment suitable for a soft-decided and received signal in applying pre-estimated CSI to a decoder, thereby more enhancing performance and enabling adaptive application based on the change of a channel status. The method includes performing a first operation of calculating a new second Channel Status Information (CSI) value CSI NEW for enhancing reliability of a received first CSI CSI RECEIVED , and applying a weight value to the calculated new second CSI value CSI NEW to calculate a third CSI value CSI WEIGHTED ; performing a second operation of applying the third CSI value CSI WEIGHTED having the weight value to a first soft-decision value S SOFTDECISION of an actually-received signal to calculate a second soft-decision value S SOFTDECISION+CSI adjusted; and performing a third operation of restrictedly controlling an output range of the calculated second soft-decision value S SOFTDECISION+CSI to finally obtain a third soft-decision value S SOFTDECISION+CSI _ Bounded calculated.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a signal receiving method based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), in particular to a method for processing received signals using channel state information in an OFDM system, estimating channel state information ( CSI: CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION), after it is corrected, the channel state information is recalculated through the weighted value application step, and it is applied to the received signal to improve the receiving performance of the receiver. Background technique [0002] As far as the multi-carrier transmission method based on OFDM is concerned, the influence of the transmission channel on the carriers allocated according to each frequency varies with each carrier. For this reason, on the receiving side, each channel state is estimated using signals transmitted by each carrier, and the information thus estimated is represented by a predetermined v...
