Abstract
The invention relates to a clarification method for honey. In the method, egg whitepowder and bentonite are used as a clarifier; steps of heating, filtration treatment and the like are matched; the precipitate in the honey is removed; and the processing method of clarifying the honey is realized. In the invention, the egg whitepowder and the bentonite, serving as the clarifier, are applied to clarification treatment of the honey, so that impurities in the honey are favorably adsorbed and precipitated, and the appearance and the color of the honey are improved; and through the heating and the filtration treatment, the stability of the honey product is enhanced, and the shelf life of the honey is prolonged. By using the method, the conventional single food processing clarification mode ischanged, a new approach for clarifying the honey is developed, and reference is provided for further research and development of the honey and processed products thereof.
