The driving rod with the rod body larger in outer diameter is used as the driving rod, and torque transferred by the rod body of the driving rod can be improved multiply, so that distortion of the rod body during operation is greatly reduced, inertial rotation of the lower portion of a rod string for the driving rod is prevented, and screwing off is eliminated. Transfer torque of a pumping rod thread higher in strength can be increased by 30% than a common pumping rod thread, and accordingly breakage caused by insufficient strength at a threaded connection position is greatly reduced. Additionally, dependency on a horizontal forging machine can be overcome by the aid of friction stir welding, and cost is lowered.
