Abstract

Provided are a system and a method for testing a wireless access controller. The system comprises a wireless access point simulation unit and a subscriber station simulation unit. The wireless access point simulation unit is configured for simulating multiple wireless access points, and is in communication with the wireless access controller through the simulated wireless access points to test performance of the wireless access controller and record problems generated during communication between the wireless access points and the wireless access controller. The subscriber station simulation unit is configured for simulating multiple subscriber stations, and is in communication with the wireless access controller through the simulated subscriber stations to test performance of the wireless access controller and record problems generated during communication between subscriber stations and the wireless access controller. By the system and the method, the wireless access controller can be tested easily and conveniently.
