132 results about "Indoor antenna" patented technology

An Indoor antenna is a type of radio or TV antenna placed indoors, as opposed to being mounted on the roof. These days, indoor antennas are a common solution for cord cutting, and there are a variety of commercial options. They are usually considered a simple and cheap solution that may work well when the receiver is relatively near to the broadcasting transmitter and the building walls do not shield the radio waves too much.

Low-profile dual-polarization low-frequency radiation unit, antenna array, antenna apparatus and antenna

The invention discloses a low-profile dual-polarization low-frequency radiation unit. The low-profile dual-polarization low-frequency radiation unit comprises two groups of low-frequency feed baluns, four low-frequency radiation oscillator arms and a medium plate, wherein one end of each of the two groups of low-frequency feed baluns is vertically installed on a reflecting plate; the other end of each of the two groups of low-frequency feed baluns is connected with the four low-frequency radiation oscillator arms; the medium plate is installed on the reflecting plate and is close to the low-frequency radiation oscillator arms; and the medium plate is disposed between the reflecting plate and the low-frequency radiation oscillator arms. Compared to the prior art, the low-profile dual-polarization low-frequency radiation unit enables the distance between the low-frequency radiation oscillator arms and the reflecting plate to be shortened, i.e., reduces the height of the ration unit, accordingly, the stability design difficulty of a whole structure is reduced, and the low-profile dual-polarization low-frequency radiation unit can be more easily accepted by a user in need of an indoor antenna. The invention simultaneously discloses a low-profile multi-frequency range dual-polarization antenna array, antenna apparatus and antenna.

Automatic antenna feed fault detection system for distributed antenna system

The invention relates to an automatic antenna feed fault detection system for a distributed antenna system. The automatic antenna feed fault detection system comprises a far-end antenna feed system alarm information collection device, an alarm information forwarding device and a network management center, wherein the far-end antenna feed system alarm information collection device comprises a far-end signal emission unit, a multifrequency combiner and an inner antenna additionally attached with inactive passive electronic labels. RUs read serial numbers of the electronic labels attached onto the antenna at regular time, each RU is in charge of collecting and monitoring fault data belonging to antenna feed systems, and all the RUs send the collected fault data and topological structure data belonging to antenna feed sub-systems to a monitoring center. The alarm information forwarding device comprises a near-end signal access unit and an expanding unit. The network management center comprises an alarm information receiving unit and an alarm display unit. The automatic antenna feed fault detection system for the distributed antenna system has the advantages of providing an automatic antenna feed fault detection scheme, reducing cost of labor and material resources, improving detection efficiency, finding problems timely and shortening fault clearing time.

Wireless network simulation method and system

The invention provides a wireless network simulation method and system. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining the real geographical environment data in a target area, constructing a virtual geographical environment based on the real geographical environment data, deploying an initial site location of a virtual outdoor base station and an initial point location of a virtual indoor signal generating device in the virtual geographical environment, then implementing simulation calculation on the propagation path and energy loss of radio wave signals of the virtual outdoor base station and the virtual indoor signal generating device in the virtual geographical environment, and if the radio wave signals of the virtual outdoor base station and the virtual indoor signal generating device can cover the virtual geographical environment, deploying a real outdoor base station and a real indoor signal device in the real geographical environment according to the initial site location and the initial point location. Thereby, the process of repeatedly detecting the wireless signals in the geographical environment and adjusting the locations of the outdoor base station and the indoor antenna is not required, simple and convenient operations can be achieved, and the time and manpower cost can be saved.

Arrangement And Method For Measuring The Performance Of Devices With Wireless Capability

A new measurement arrangement and method for measuring the performance of a device under test, such as an antenna, a mobile phone and other wireless terminals, are disclosed. The chamber defines an internal cavity therein, adapted to enclose the device under test, and including walls of an inwardly reflective material, rendering the walls reflective to electromagnetic waves, thereby simulating a multi-path environment. Thus, the chamber is a reverberation chamber. Further, at least one first chamber antenna and at least one second chamber antenna, are arranged in the cavity, the first and second chamber antennas being configured to transmit and receive electromagnetic waves within a first predefined frequency range and within a second predefined frequency range, respectively. A measuring instrument is connected to the device under test and the chamber antennas, for measuring the transmission between them. Furthermore, a frequency selective absorber is arranged in the cavity, the frequency selective absorber being arranged to absorb electromagnetic waves having a frequency within the first predefined frequency range and reflect electromagnetic waves having a frequency within the second predefined frequency range. Hereby, a measurement arrangement capable of testing of devices having wireless capability according to coming mobile communication standards is presented.

Indoor antenna monitoring method and equipment for mobile communication

The invention discloses an indoor antenna monitoring method for mobile communication. The method comprises the following steps that: (1) each indoor antenna is provided with a signal intensity detector, and the signal intensity detectors acquire emission intensity signals of the antennae; (2) the acquired signals are digitized, numbered, converted into spread spectrum signals and wirelessly transmitted to wireless routing sensors of corresponding floors; (3) the wireless routing sensors add own numbers to the received digital signals of each antenna of the corresponding floors, and transmit the digital signals to data acquisition concentrators of corresponding buildings by the spread spectrum signals; (4) the data acquisition concentrators add own numbers to the received digital signals, and transmit the digital signals to a monitoring system center platform of China Mobile by a broadband network; and (5) system management software records, analyzes, compares and displays the digital signals. Therefore, a management department can display and manage the distribution conditions, specific mounting positions and the like of radio remote unit (RRU) equipment and the indoor distributed antennae in a mobile communication network of the whole jurisdiction district on an electronic map.
