Problems solved by technology

[0004] At present, the cost of electrolytic hydrogen production mainly depends on the cost of electricity consumption. For the mature hydrogen production technology of alkaline electrolysis water, the unit power consumption of hydrogen production is as high as 5kWh / Nm 3 about
However, if clean energy is used to generate hydrogen, it is difficult to popularize and apply it due to the high cost of power generation.
Because the current cost of solar power generation is basically more than 2.5 times the cost of wind power generation, and at present, the volatility of wind power is large, and the stability is difficult to guarantee, so even if cheap wind power is used, the cost is also high
Therefore, the development of electrolytic hydrogen production using new energy power generation is slow and its application is limited

Embodiment Construction

[0018] Embodiments of the invention will now be described in detail, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals refer to like parts throughout. The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present invention by referring to the figures.

[0019] The present invention adopts high temperature electrolysis hydrogen production technology (High Temperature Electrolysis, HTE for short), and performs electrolysis hydrogen production at a high temperature of about 700°C to 900°C. In this way, part of the energy for hydrogen production from high-temperature superheated steam can be provided by cheap thermal energy. At the same time, because the high-temperature electrolytic hydrogen production technology works at high temperature, the reaction power is accelerated, the energy loss caused by electrode polarization is reduced, the overall efficiency of the system is improved, and the power consumption of electrolytic hydr...

Abstract

The invention provides a wind power high temperature electrolytic hydrogen preparation system and a method. The system comprises a direct current power source, an alternating current power source, a high temperature super hot water vapor preparation unit, an auxiliary heat storage unit, a high temperature electrolytic hydrogen preparation unit and a heat exchange unit. The direct current power source rectifies alternating currents of a wind turbine generator system (WTGS) into direct currents of first voltage; the alternating current power source rectifies alternating currents of the WTGS into alternating currents of a second voltage; the high temperature super hot water vapor preparation unit prepares super hot water vapor based on the alternating currents of the alternating current power source; the auxiliary heat storage unit receives the alternating currents of the alternating current power source to store energy; the high temperature electrolytic hydrogen preparation unit utilizes direct current of the direct current power source to electrolyze the super hot water vapor prepared by the high temperature super hot water vapor preparation unit to prepare hydrogen; and the heat exchange unit exchanges heat in the high temperature electrolytic hydrogen preparation unit and the auxiliary heat storage unit so that the high temperature electrolytic hydrogen preparation unit is maintained at a stable temperature. When the alternating current voltage output by the alternating current power source is reduced apparently, the auxiliary heat storage unit supplies stored energy to the high temperature super hot water vapor preparation unit, so that the high temperature super hot water vapor preparation unit outputs super hot water vapor stably.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to electrolytic hydrogen production, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a high-temperature electrolytic hydrogen production system and method utilizing excess wind energy or non-grid-connected wind power. Background technique [0002] Hydrogen is an ideal renewable fuel, and hydrogen energy economy has always been concerned and valued by everyone. The development of hydrogen energy must first solve the problem of cheap and green hydrogen sources. But at present, about 96% of the hydrogen in the world is mainly composed of natural gas (CH 4 ), coal or petroleum as raw materials, since fossil energy contains carbon, hydrogen production from fossil energy will emit a large amount of CO 2 . In addition, due to the problems of large resource consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in hydrogen production from fossil energy, the process is unsustainable and undesirable. [0003] Hydrogen production by el...
