[0015] The invention provides a kind of synthetic method of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, wherein, the method comprises the following steps:

[0016] (1) Contacting acrylonitrile with a first sulfonating agent at -20°C to 5°C to obtain a first solution;

[0017] (2) at -20°C to 55°C, contacting the first solution with isobutene accounting for 10-100% of the isobutene feed and a second sulfonating agent to obtain a second solution;

[0018] (3) at -20°C to 55°C, contacting the second solution with isobutene accounting for 0-90% of the isobutene feed to obtain a slurry product;

[0019] (4) Separating and purifying the slurry product to obtain 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid;

[0020] Wherein, the first sulfonating agent is the same or different from the second sulfonating agent, and each is sulfuric acid or oleum with a concentration of 98-103% by weight; the weight of the first sulfonating agent is the same as that of the first sulfonating agent The ra...

Embodiment 1

[0037] This example is used to illustrate the synthesis method of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid provided by the present invention.

[0038] (1) In a four-neck flask equipped with a temperature control device, a stirrer, a thermometer and a gas feed device, add 330 g of acrylonitrile, and after cooling the acrylonitrile to -10° C., add 40 g of fuming sulfuric acid with a concentration of 103% by weight As the first sulfonating agent, the temperature was maintained at -10°C during and after the addition and stirring was continued for 1 hour.

[0039] (2) After the temperature was raised to 40° C., 15 g of isobutene was introduced for reaction, and then 21 g of oleum with a concentration of 101% by weight was added to the reaction system as the second sulfonating agent, and isobutylene was continued to be introduced after reacting for 1 hour.

[0040] (3) Close the isobutene valve after the total amount of isobutene added to the reaction system reaches 35 g, and finis...

Embodiment 2

[0043] This example is used to illustrate the synthesis method of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid provided by the present invention.

[0044] (1) In a four-necked flask provided with a temperature control device, a stirrer, a thermometer and a gas feed device, add 330g of acrylonitrile, and after the acrylonitrile is cooled to -10°C, add a concentration of 40g of sulfuric acid of 103% by weight as the second A sulfonating agent, the temperature was maintained at -10°C during and after the addition and stirring was continued for 1 hour.

[0045] (2) After the temperature was raised to 40° C., 15 g of isobutene was introduced for reaction, and then 21 g of sulfuric acid with a concentration of 100% by weight was added to the reaction system as the second sulfonating agent to react for 1 hour, and then the isobutene was continued to be introduced.

Abstract

The invention provides a synthesis method of 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS). The method comprises the following steps of: contacting acrylonitrile with a first sulfonating agent at minus 20-5 DEG C to obtain a first solution; contacting the first solution with isobutene accounting for 10-100% of isobutene feed and a second sulfonating agent at minus 20-55 DEG C to obtain a second solution; contacting the second solution with isobutene accounting for 0-90% of isobutene feed at minus 20-55 DEG C to obtain a pulp product; and separating and purifying the pulp product to obtain AMPS. By adopting the method provided by the invention, other substances are unnecessary to be introduced into a reaction system, thus saving the cost spent on buying the raw materials of other substances, and the steps of adding the substances to the reaction system and removing the substances from the reaction system are also reduced, thus greatly reducing the production cost and improving the purity.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for synthesizing 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid. Background technique [0002] 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propanesulfonic acid (2-acrylamide-2-methyl propanesulfonic acid, hereinafter referred to as AMPS) is a multifunctional water-soluble anionic monomer, due to its molecular structure has carbon-carbon double bonds and is insensitive to salt The sulfonic acid group is easy to polymerize, and its homopolymer and copolymer have many special properties, which have broad application prospects and can be widely used in oilfield chemistry, water treatment agents, chemical fibers, plastics, printing and dyeing, coatings, and surfactants , antistatic agent, ceramics, photography, detergent additives, ion exchange resin, gas separation membrane, electronics industry and other fields. [0003] The most typical process for producing AMPS at present is to prepare AMPS by reacting acrylonitrile, oleum and isobutylene under...
