The method includes constructing an object-oriented data model of the intelligent building on the basis of a geographic information system; performing three-dimensional modeling for a building example on the basis of an example of the object-oriented data model of the intelligent building to generate a three-dimensional model; determining a target region of the building example according to the three-dimensional model; combining the target region with a preliminarily constructed linear propagation mathematical model of the sound waves and computing by the aid of set values of parameters affecting the movement tracks of the sound waves to obtain the movement tracks of the sound waves in the target region; and continuously adjusting the values of the parameters affecting the movement tracks of the sound waves if the movement tracks of the sound waves are blocked until the movement racks of the sound waves in the target region are not blocked. The method and the device have the advantages that the movement tracks of the sound waves are simulated and analyzed for results of optimization combinations of various articles in the actual building, so that the optimal combination of the articles can be selected, and requirements of construction of the intelligent building are met.
