Abstract

The invention discloses a urea tank which comprises a urea feeding port and ammonia gas outlet main body unit, a heating device used for heating urea, a controller used for judging whether the main body unit works or not and a support used for being connected with an automobile. The urea tank is connected with the automobile through the support. In operation, solid urea is fed into the main body unit through the urea feeding port. When the controller detects that nitric oxides are included in automobile exhaust, the controller controls the main body unit to start to work, namely, the solid urea in the main body unit is heated through the heating device to generate ammonia gas and the ammonia gas is discharged through an ammonia gas outlet. According to the solid urea adopted, freeze is avoided at low temperature, storage and carrying are convenient. Compared with liquid urea in the prior art, storage volume in the urea tank is large. Further, the solid urea is converted from a solid state to a gas stage directly in operation so that a connecting pipe is prevented from being blocked.
