The composite tube comprises an inner polyvinyl chloride tube, an epoxy resin layer and a glass fiber layer subjected to epoxy resin impregnation sequentially from inside to outside, and spiral reinforcing ribs are arranged on the outer surface of the inner polyvinyl chloride tube. The preparation method includes: uniformly mixing polyvinyl chloride, calcium carbonate, compound stabilizer, paraffin wax and stearic acid, adding the mixture into a twin-screw extruder, discharging from the twin-screw extruder, and passing a shaper to prepare the inner polyvinyl chloride tube with the spiral reinforcing ribs; and coating the inner polyvinyl chloride tube with glass fibers subjected to epoxy resin impregnation to obtain the composite tube.
