Abstract

The electrolyte additive comprises, by weight, 0.5-2 parts of mixed organosiloxane, 1-3 parts of a phosphoric acid solution with a concentration of 35-58%, 0.2-0.5 part of a D-mannitol aqueous solution with a concentration of 80-95%, 1-2 parts of polyoxyethylene ether with a concentration of 10-30%, 1-3 parts of an organosilicon oil with a viscosity of less than 2000 Pa, and 200-500 parts of a polyacrylamide solution with a concentration of 0.1-0.3%. With the present invention, a cycle life of a lead-calcium battery can be prolonged by more than 50%, wherein the original average cycle life can be prolonged to more than 400-450 from 250.
