Abstract

The method for tracking the frequency signal is provided within a unit, and receives at least one signal through at least one interface unit, wherein the supplied frequency signal is counted by a first counter within the unit. A current count reading of the first counter is stored in a first register within the unit according to the at least one signal, and is compared with a preset value range by a comparator unit within the unit. The value range is defined by at least one preset threshold, and an adjusting signal is generated by the comparator unit. If the current count reading of the first counter output as an output signal of the first register is outside the preset value range, the comparator unit generates the adjusting signal to influence the tracking of the frequency of the frequency signal, and a tracking signal of the frequency signal is generated through the adjusting signal.
